Florida Virtual School
Eleven school districts in Stark and Portage counties in northeast Ohio created an online-learning option for their students through Florida Virtual School (FLVC), the state financed on-line program for Florida, grades 6-12. This site has information relating to available courses, course demonstrations, application information and resources for those interested in being on-line learners. Ohio students can enroll directly in FLVS courses for a per course fee. For more information directly from FLVC, contact Barry Kruegar. Jefferson County Virtual Learning Academy
Jefferson County's "Virtual Learning Academy" (VLA) is an on-line alternative to the traditional classroom. This program provides students, parents and teachers with the flexibility to offer courses from within the walls of the classroom and beyond. Students in grades 2-12 can take more than 80 on-line educational offerings through a robust delivery system. Each course is fully aligned to Ohio's Academic Content Standards. VLA can be used to service any student that the superintendent deems necessary, including those who are
- home-bound
- home schooled
- in need of credit reclamation
- dropped out
- special needs and at-risk
- assigned to alternative schools

A+ AnyWhere Learning System
American Education Corporation (AEC) is a leading provider of research-based core curriculum instructional software for kindergarten through adult learners. The coursework is currently in use in over 15,000 public and private K-12 schools, charter schools, colleges, correctional institutions, center of adult literacy, military education programs, and after-school learning centers.
The Allen County Educational Service Center (ACESC) North Central Ohio Educational Service Center (NCOESC) uses the A+ curriculum for credit recovery instruction, alternative education programs, juvenile correction classrooms, special needs and at-risk students.

Lincoln Interactive
The National Network of Digital Schools (NNDS), which designs, develops, and delivers Lincoln Interactive courses works with a diverse group of over 200 traditional brick and mortar, public schools, charter schools, private schools, parochial schools, and cyber charter schools from around the country. NNDS has 250+ courses that cover the core curriculum areas of math, English, science and social studies as well as world languages and a wide range of elective subjects. Each self-paced, semester Lincoln Interactive course offers students a variety of content supplemented with various activities that include web investigations, podcasts, interactive labs, PowerPoint presentations, videos, songs, and games.
Several OhioDL.org partners manage Lincoln Interactive coursework for districts in their service area: Columbiana County ESC, North Central Ohio ESC, and WVIZ servicing northeast Ohio.

Pearson Digital Learning Solutions
The Pearson Digital Learning Solutions are designed for grades K-12. NovaNET, one of the Pearson solutions, is a comprehensive, on-line courseware system that meets countless needs. From delivering thousands of hours of research and standards-based, interactive curriculum, to integrated assessment and student management, NovaNET is an all-inclusive system. Schools in Stark and Portage counties use NovaNET for the following purposes:
